Photo's showing railway activity in the Carnforth area. Virgin, First Transpennine and Northern operate passenger services, EWS, Freightliner, Colas and DRS operate freight services. West Coast Railway Company are based at the former Steamtown Railway Museum site. They operate charter trains, inspection saloons, provide locos and crew throughout the UK. Maintenance of steam and diesel locos, coaching stock maintenance/repairs and also have a paint shop on site.
